An article in the Baltimore Sun regarding mental illness and marijuana prompted a letter to the editor from a gentleman who stated that, in his opinion, there is a false link between pot and mental illness. His point being that marijuana isn’t all bad and it does not cause mental illness.

I recently read an article discussing children and the possibility that they are over medicated for psychiatric conditions.
I must admit, I really don’t know much about child psychiatric issues; I haven’t seen children with mental illness first hand, but I do know that autism and other illnesses like depression and bipolar seem to be identified in children more so than ever before. Continue reading
